A little about me
I’m a counsellor and mum of two.
I work with mums who are holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious or simply not quite themselves underneath it all.
I work integratively, which means each session is tailored to your needs — no one-size-fits-all approach, just a space to be heard, understood and supported.
Human first. Therapist second.

A space wherever you are

The changes, expectations and emotions that come with becoming a mum — and finding your sense of self within it all.

When your mind won’t switch off, everything feels like too much, or you’re struggling to keep up with the demands of everyday life.

A safe, compassionate space to process difficult birth experiences, pregnancy or baby loss, and the feelings that can follow.

From relationships, intimacy and self-worth to the things you’re finding difficult but can’t quite put into words.
Making sense of the changes
Matrescence is the emotional, physical and psychological transition into motherhood.
It’s the bit nobody puts in the baby books — the identity shifts, the love, the overwhelm, the “who even am I now?” moments, and figuring out how to be a mum without completely disappearing into the role.
It’s not about finding your old self again. It’s about getting to know the version of you that’s emerging.
And it doesn’t stop once the baby years are over — matrescence can continue to shape and reshape us through every stage of motherhood.

I could talk to Kristyn about literally anything. She made me feel so comfortable and I never felt judged, even when I was talking about things I found really hard.
Therapy with Kristyn was honestly one of the best things I’ve done for myself. She’s warm, funny and so easy to talk to, and I always felt completely comfortable being myself.
Kristyn is just so lovely to talk to. It never felt awkward or clinical, more like having a chat with an old friend. Therapy really helped me.
